Over priced and under delivered.Attended over a short trip to WA and assumed that the nature of this bakery being “award winning” would attest to the quality of the food, as is visible all the news articles about said awards are yellowed and old which attests to the nature of their food.Overall we purchased a pie, sausage roll, a rainbow cookie and some coffee. While the food was moderately ok, for the High price point it was incredibly unjustified, you can easily find better food for significantly less across the road. All in all, I won’t be returning and I urge anyone attending to be cautious of this business.

Yep pretty darn good pies to be had here. Good size and very nice pastry, I tried the sweet lamb curry which was very tasty and help warm the spirits on a overcast and drizzly day. Not cheap but worth coin.

Absolutely enjoyed my coffee and cinny roll here. The pie was not too bad too but a little bit pricey. The scones looked yum hopefully would come back for them someday

We stopped here looking to enjoy scrumptious bakery foods, and great coffee. One out of two isn't bad. Great food.I went in to pick up my croissant and saw two coffees there. The staff said I couldn't have them as they were for John. He hadn't shown up for atleast 10 min. I went outside to eat with my husband who was enjoying his pasties. I was about half way through and they called our name. She gave me the original coffees. Cold!!! After the staff had a short discussion with another staff member, she disparingly said she would make our coffees again. We did get them and who knows what I got but it wasn't the med flat white I ordered. My husband got his large flat white.Shame. It was super busy but giving us the cold order and then something else is very disappointing.

Once upon a time they had a sausage roll with bacon cheese and tomato that would rock your socks (1995-2000ish). Now they are half the size, different pastry, and the mince isn’t mince. Gone are the days. Cashing in on accolades is well deserved, and I am grateful for the memories I had as a child. But it will take a lot to win me back - I hope the owner reads this and reconsiders. I am sure he remembers too

had the award winning sweet curry lamb pie.as a lover of pies and travelling trying every town pie i can.. ill call this an avg pie.falls apart, but still great tasting pastry, only a warm filling... it is decent size. the flavour of the filling was awesome.not worth the high price for the pie...im sure the other selections there are better.

Over priced and lacks that award winning" feature to pies and pastries. Pretty disappointed as it does get hyped up quite a bit. Pie still tasted pretty good but I think for the price I've had better pies for less."

Am a lover of all sort of steak pies, so we tried the steak and mushroom, steak and kidney, pepper steak - all were saucy with chunks of beef meat and flaky pastry. To try something different we all tried the chicken and leek, seafood pies, ham cheese n tomato sausage roll, chilli cheese dog. Sausage rolls very average, chicken/ seafood pie gluggy, and chilli cheese dog dry. Stick to steak pies - can't go wrong with oozy gravy and tonnes of flavour.

This place is famous for it’s award winning pies and they are very good. Arrived too late for breakfast at what looks like an expansion next door into a what has become a cafe with an indoor/outdoor seating area. Settled for a fish burger and a breakfast bagel which were both pretty good. Can’t go wrong with beer battered fries either!
