Bay Bakery Cafe
Great bakery! The young man at the front counters great attitude made my service enjoyable. The food is great. Sit inside or outside depending on the weather. Great to visit small town bakeries like this! Always worth their while! Definitely stop in for lunch or dinner. We grabbed our dinner while staying in the campsite across the road.

Great variety of pies. Mine was packed with all the items it was meant to have ( meat, bacon, and cheese). My wife's pie was equally as good (satay chicken). The apple slice and bee sting were great as well. Friendly staff reasonable pricing.

Cinnamon doughnuts tasted like they were cooked in old oil, after taste of fish or lamb or something. Not sure what but it was horrible, we had to throw them out. Bread was nice though and customer service was good.

Sausage roll was more like breadcrumb & onion roll, the beef cheese & bacon pie tasted burnt and fell apart almost immediately. We didn’t buy one but the vanilla slice custard was fluoro yellow which should have tipped us off as to what we were in for. Disappointing but they’ve got a captive market.

Pastry was ok, but both pies we bought had lids coming off. Chicken and veg pie was more of a veg pie. Sad, as the taste was good but literally 3 pieces of chicken in it. Not great value for a pie worth $6-7.

Came in noon yesterday. Guy behind counter looked like he really couldn't care less. I bought chips but while they looked like they were nice when they were Cooked, when they served them they were hard and stale, these chips should never have been sold. The pies were a bit old too but was still at least nice as the meat and gravy was good.

Had a chicken satay pie. Should have been called veg soup pie. NO satay flavor a few strands of PULLED chicken meat with peas carrots +cornfloured water. Not returningn

They have a good range, the coffee is good, it was a pity that the sausage rolls were so greasy
